This showstopping bowl is part of the Eclipse tableware collection designed by Laima Grigone. This bowl could be used as a magnificent fruit bowl or a serving bowl placed in the middle of the table.

This collection is made using the Terra Sigillata technique that was developed in ancient Rome. Designed and sustainably handmade by a team of artisans utilising Latvian red clay, these items have been glazed and tempered to 1000 C, with a lead-free glaze on the inside. Characterized by clean, smooth lines and a deep black colour, the Eclipse range creates a stunning table setting either by itself or paired with tableware of other colours and shapes.

This product is designed to serve food rather than cook food. At first glance this may seem insiginificant, but when comparing the lifetime of dishes used in one way or another, the difference is measurable in years.

Always be careful to avoid sudden temperature changes such as from extreme cold to hot. Ceramics should be heated slowly and evenly. We

recommend caution with oven use. Place the ceramic piece in a cool oven and bring the temperature of the oven up to a maximum of 200 ° C. Never place a ceramic directly into a hot, pre-heated oven!

This product is dishwasher safe, however avoid harsh, abrasive detergents.

Avoid situations where the exterior of the dish touches oily or colourful food for a long time.

Each dish in the Eclipse range is individually handmade and therefore there may be minor irregularities in the form, clay tone and glaze colour. Each piece is carefully inspected to ensure that it lives up to our own high standards as well as those you, our customers expect.
