It's well know that Baltic people love their linen.  These throws are woven by hand in Latvia by a 12 year old boy who has learnt his craft from his Grandmother, who weaves our woollen shawls.  We love their story, that together they have found a way to preserve ancient Latvian traditions, while also finding their own way to influence new designs!
 
These throws were originally woven specifically to be used in a sauna, whereby the linen is a great exfoliant!  We think they look great on a table, as a wall hanging or a chair throw.  Experiment with all options!
 
Each piece is truly unique - the edging may change, the ends may be finished with lace or tassels, depending on the artist's mood.  Whichever it is, you know you are taking home a unique piece woven with love and pride.
